SPECtrumRx: embracing diversity, enhancing inclusive care
SpectrumRx Neurodiversity Foundation Training for Pharmacy Practice is a national program developed in collaboration between the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia and The Spectrum Pharmacist.
This program equips pharmacists and their teams, across all practice settings, with evidence-based, up-to-date foundational knowledge and the awareness that is the essential starting point for reducing stigma and delivering effective, person-centred care. With a strong focus on empathy, understanding, and practical application, the training builds confidence to support neurodivergent people, including those with autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, intellectual developmental disability, communication disorders, motor disorders, and specific learning disorders.
TWO PATHWAYS
Pathway 1 for Pharmacists (10 Modules), and Pathway 2 for Pharmacy Assistants (5 Modules).
